Mayhem - "From the Dark Past"
Darkthrone - "Over Fjell Og Gjennom Torner"
Emperor - "Thus Spake the Nightspirit"
I've had some weird experiences with these songs late at night.
Some others:
Death - "Pull the Plug"
Decapitated - "Post(?) Organic"

That riff mid-way through, plus Attila's vocals, is the epitome of darkness.

The first time I heard that song I could imagine what was going through the Stormriders mind. The part of the first chorus where Greely holds down that note is just epic. Words can hardly describe how much I love this song.

Therion- Trul
The chorus. It's epic and massive as shit. And the solo is awesome.
Furthermore, Kristian Niemann's solo in Asgard is ripping and majestic. I'd add that to the list.

The Carcass songs that hold most emotional resonance with me are Forensic Clinicism and Death Certificate...particularly the lyrics
"Machine coded, reduced to hard memory, in a data base
Digitalised, statistical obituary, your only legacy, your final resting place"

Yeah, except Blasting the Virginborn, which is mad boring.
I second Hallowed Be Thy Name (not a fan of the "OR IS IT SOME CRAAAAZY DREAM?" bit, though, that's goofy).
Also, These Low Lands, the translated cover off of Swallow the Sun's Hope LP (with the dude from Amorphis helping out on vox) is awesome.

Way too many to mention that have come and gone, but here are some anyway.
Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons
Iron Maiden - Brave New World (Especially the heavy verses.)
Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name (Favorite part is "If there's a god, why has he let me die?", fucking genius, and he sings it extremely well in particular. Also the riff is insane.)
Iron Maiden - Out of The Silent Planet (Love the verses, fucking great song.)
Evergrey - Unspeakable (So emotional. The song that really got me into them.)
Evergrey - Obedience (Again, really emotional, and one of their first song I liked.)
Evergrey - In The Wake Of The Weary (Sweeps me away and gives me shivers each time, such a fucking powerful song.)
