songs that send a shiver down your spine
you know a song is REALLY good when you get shivers down your spine and you want to go nuts and headbang in the middle of a chav filled street
i want to know which songs do that for you.
off the top of my head atm its devil driver - hold back the day
stuck mojo - metal is dead
and arch enemy - rise of the tyrant

They rose lifeless in the shadows of greatness
With vacant eyes they gorge blindly on their own flesh
Making a mockery of the millions they would dare to lead
Where once was passion Now only vanity and avarice dwell
A puppet show whose masters devour their young with delight
And even as they are ground in the mouths of their makers, they sing
Songs that are as empty as their words
As meaningless as their promises
And as dead as their souls

Time is out... YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, I don't need your god"

Kiuas- And the North Star Cried
The lines:
"And her tears fell upon the earth..."
and the final verse:
"Our fathers' blood was spilled on the ice
And the North Star cried in the night."
Both give me chills. That song is one of the most emotionally charged and heartbreaking songs I've ever heard.

For emotion and atmosphere, you have to be going some to beat
My Dying Bride - The Dreadful Hours.
Fucking hell, that song is unbelievably sad on an epic scale.
