Maybe this doesn't deserve a thread, and even if it does, it probably belongs on the Old School forum, but I don't really care. I love Ritchie Blackmore and guitarists that play like him. Oddly enough, I hate Deep Purple, but I digress. Let's all swoon over the haunting guitar styling of Ritchie Blackmore:

I'm so glad you posted "The Crowman," because that playing style is total Blackmore. I've always thought that song sounded like an awesome mix of Jethro Tull with Blackmore on guitar, haha.
I'm not a huge fan of the Blackmore's Night project, but some of the stuff he plays is gorgeous:
