Plus he obviously has NOT listened to the masterpiece that is Gorecki's Symphony Of Sorrowful Songs. You want fucking dark and depressive? It doesn't come much more powerful than that

Currently I listen to Classic Rock/Prog, Metal, Indie, and some Classical. Rap is only once in awhile, and Ska/Punk only if I'm in the mood.

the only non metal band i like is U2 - but i do like some other random songs that are non meal, mostly trance or electronic stuff, but even then only maybe 2 or 3

Hell yes. Gorecki's third is one of my favorite pieces. Its extremely beautiful.
