FUCK! I really need to get a 360. Most of the Wii titles have bored the FUCK out of me.
But I'll still play Counter-Strike and Team Fortress 2 often.

Seriously though - the atmosphere and plot of Bioshock have totally blown me away. It's way better than any sci-fi flick of this millenium, and elevates a good shooter to a great one.
If anyone asks you the closest gaming has come to art, this would have my fucking vote. Simply outstanding.

I really need to play that. I've heard nothing but good things.
Is it better than Serenity?

I agree it is great on that atmospheric level, but I'd say it is more than a tad overrated. The developers are lucky that they can get away with telling the story like a radioplay 90% of the time because it fits right in with the game's overall aesthetic. Otherwise, while the story telling in general is no doubt good, I would feel that the primary storytelling device in the game is a rather 'cheap' approach. An easy way to get around cutscenes that, while effective, is not the best way to deliver story in the medium IMO.
Other great 'art games' of recent years: Psychonauts, Portal, maybe even Mass Effect.

Mass Effect may have been great "art" but it was a tiresome "game"

Portal was fuckin' amazing. Not so much with the art, though...
