In other news, Jade Empire is a cumtastic RPG.

Tod, the Dunmer rogue, arrives in Seyda Neen. Not adequately reading through his directions, he is unaware of the silt strider and thus wanders off for Balmora. He encounters a weird eyeball-looking thing, which he manages to kill with his new sword. Heh. I remember that 'epic' quest, and that smuggler cave. Shoulda taught (sp) you to read all those huge text blocks that invade your screen from time to time, and also to save often.

I really like Morrowind though, it's one of few RPGs I've played that actually is an RPG.

Go out and get the collectors edition; game and both expansions (including the absolutely amazing Viking-themed Bloodmoon expansion) for $20 at most. Runs on anything.

Yeah, it did...after the 3rd time. The learning curve was steep but short, and once you got over it it was amazing...

Indeed - there's as much room for roleplaying as you want, although if you don't want to, you don't have to.

Was that directed at me or Ender? Not only do the expansions add great new quests, they are also required for many of the great mods out there. I'm currently playing with between 30-50 mods installed.

Yeah, at Ender.
The Runestone mod is invaluable. Also, I found a cool one that adds more buildings and stuff to the 50 or so small towns and adds shit to the outskirts of the major cities, basically making everything more realistic in size.
