you'd think so, but GNC makes some fuckin' delicious protein powder. It tastes almost like chocolate milk.
protein generally tastes like shit, but the GNC brand pm protein just tastes marvelous.

Hm. I should get some because we are technically required to have it for football
Even though I have broken that rule 3 years in a row

60 grams is a little bit excessive if you do that more than once a day especially since a lot of other food you eat has protien too and you have to factor that in. i usually eat a protien bar which has 32 grams of protien plus drink a lot of milk and eat a lot of meat and that seems to be a enough. there is a point where you can get too much protien.

Sour cream is awesome. I don't have it that much because it's terribly fattening, but when I do I have it with steak, chips (with added dip mix) and other miscellaneous items.

protein bars tend to have alot of fat and useless sugars and are not a good option for a post workout meal. Post workout you need 30-50 grams of whey protein with about 300 - 400 calories. The whey protein is very fast acting as insures proper recovery of the destroyed muscle cells/fibres. There are several different kinds of powers, I have one for strictly post workout, then one for nighttime (PWO - 40 g, nighttime - 20 G, rest of the day = 120 - 140 G).
Having all this protein is actually cost effective, while you see people going to wendies at 11:00 and spending 5 bucks there, I have 4 months worth of nighttime food (one scoop of powder + drink) for a grand total of 30 bucks.
