you know, maybe instead of insulting me, one of you guys can give me some guidance?

the only decent advice I have seen so far is Carcassian's advice.

Do not fucking tell me to do the bullshit nice guy approach, I did this for 18 years and it got me absolutely nowhere

do not tell me "to be myself", I was myself for 18 years and it got me to absolutely nowhere. I am still myself though, just a more improved version of it (as bad as it is now, it was 100 times worse 2 or 3 years ago when I couldn't even approach girls at all).

basically, I have had self esteem issues for a very very long time and they are finally going away now.

Dave you are an utter douche, get over yourself (maybe try to get to know who you are at your core as well) and stop trying to find an all encompassing theory to explain your lack of girls and sex. Just learn to honestly be yourself around women and eventually someone should respond.

Also, for future reference, myspace probably isn't the best place to ask girls out tbqh.

I don't see the point in lying over a forum, why not represent yourself as a real perosn instead of a persona?

you know what's weird? I have been able to attract a few chicks without really trying in the past but then I always screwed it up by showing what a desperate needy loser I was

Why not just love a woman for the pure sake of loving her? There is no need to go around scouting around for women that might make a good fuck. If you find someone that you can truly love regardless of rewards/benefits, then that is good enough.

Maybe it's just because I'm still in high school, but dating and going to clubs and such to pick up women seems futile and degrading to one's own mentality to me. I don't have any moral quarrel with it, but in my opinion, it's a matter of psychology and self-esteem, and to fuck with these aspects of yourself is dangerous.

you can understand how infuriating it is though to hear shit like "just be yourself"

If I was 800 pound fat bastard, and "myself" was sitting on my bed all day and eating 500,000 calories. Would "being myself" help fix the problem? the same concept applies here.
