Why does no one ever talk about alcohol on this forum? What kind of metalheads are you?
I don't mean in the sense of "I drank 15 Busch Lights and broke a toilet." Aren't there people who drink good beer or liquor here? Perhaps I will start a thread.

I'm drinking a beer right now. James Squire Golden Ale. A darn fine Aussie drop. Most of the James Squire range is decent.

Can't say I've ever seen that one before. There are some very good liquor stores in the area, but I'm sure we encounter very different beers. The only Aussie beer I've ever seen is Foster's and Foster's Dark, which are probably actually brewed in Canada.
People who enjoy beer should check out beeradvocate.com. It's the "metal-archives" of beer sites.

Yeah Fosters is rubbish over here. Odd that it seems to be the most exported Aussie name for beer.
My current fave Aussie beer is Mountain Goat Pale Ale. Microbrewed in Melbourne by an independant company, just two guys who are beer lovers that had been doing homebrews for years. The whole range is really tasty.
I'll check out beeradvocate.com, cheers.

Mellow Yellow, Mountain Dew... peh, Coke ftw *toasts something with his coke*, give me coke or give me booze, preferrably coke, booze prevents driving.
