I'm 17, remember. Taxes won't be a big issue. Should just be social security. So yeah, it won't be the whole thing, but still good money for a kid.

$8/hr is pretty standard, tbh. It's above minimum wage, so I'm not complaining. Fair wage.

FICA
FITW
State taxes
Local taxes (if any)
So, not just social security |

 at the replies in here. I'll probbaly get paid 5-6 $ for it and maybe 10-20 hours a week. They havent hired me yet so they may decide not to do it. |
