I know how you feel man My brother is about to start junior high , and I'm already fucking struck by nostalgia. I'll be getting my temporary fix though, once the winter SATs starting. I always work in highschools as a supervisor/examinator for the exams season. I only took this job, so I can walk the halls and sit at the familiar desk again. As strange as it may sound to some, I seriously miss high-school.

I was speaking about the college students here.
Enjoy college, guys. It's the best time of your life.
I've been out since May and I already miss it.

Agreed. I'm about 10 years out of university and I miss those days like anything. Amazing times.

I remember something Frank Zappa said once:
Life is like high school with money.

Me too. I especially miss having teachers who actually know how to teach, and who don't mind sitting around and chatting with the students after class.
I think what I miss more, though, is being at that age. My mind worked a lot differently back then. I was more explorative, more idealistic, and less self-conscious. Plus, I didn't have to worry about my future all the time, like I seem to be doing in college.
Still, I imagine I'll have changed a lot in another few years, once college is far behind me. Maybe I'll be just as nostalgic about college.
