I doubt it, I burnt him a few CD's of nothing but MDF bands on it, and he apparently liked it, but he isn't the type that really gets into or analyze music, he just listens to what pleases him.
Either way, I doubt he would have any problem at all, he'd just be lost in some of the metal conversation, but that's no big deal.

If I am able to go (free time woot), I would have to shell out for a two way flight, the room, and other accommodations...

Undecided as of yet. Although I guess there's no reason I couldn't. Making it there wouldn't be a problem, as it's only a 3.5 hour drive for me. The money isn't a problem. I believe spring semester will be over by then for me. I would like to get into more of the bands. Right now there are only 7 or 8 that really interest me. I guess I'm still not very kvlt.
