I only played Tekken 5 on PS2 and it was more tedious than staring at cobwebs all day long.
Soul Calibur 3
I actually am very much excited whenever a new MK title is announced. I bought all the MK games for the PS2 and although they don't offer much replayability, I find that there's there's a certain, undeniable charm in the characters and the atmosphere of the MK universe on the whole that makes me want to return and play them every now and then.
I watched Mortal Kombat- the movie yesterday again only to remind myself how hideous it is, but still found it strangely engaging all the way through just because of the setting.
Weird, I know.

You'd expect this kind of thing from people who play shitty video games. It's not the violence in the game, but it's no coincidence that people who play stupid games do stupid things.

Never liked tekken much (kind of hated it actually), streetfighter was alright (all the later editions could kiss my ass though); for me, mortal kombat was great, and I had total love for most of the characters and storylines. Other fighting games that were were/are awesome are guilty gear, samrai showdown, primal rage (hilarious), soul caliber, nightstalkers, and a few others i'm forgetting.

In SCII I found a way to fight with Necrid so that if you time it right your enemy can't attack. You have to get the first hit in, though, and it's no good for time challenges because it takes too long to kill.

I remember when I killed my friend by poking him with Kilik. I used to be good with Ivy, but then I lost my skills with her. I can own so badly with Cervantes.
