Problems loading songs onto MP3 Player
Ok so maybe i'm a little behind in times but my girlfriend just got me an MP3 player for my birthday that holds like 1000 songs. Some music I downloaded transfered quite easily on there but some of it won't transfer at all.
ALSO, something that should be fucking simple like taking my cd's and transfering them to the MP3 is a hard task I cannot figure out. When I insert one of my cd's into my drive and copy it to Windows Media Player etc, how then do I transfer that album over to my MP3 player? FUCK!!
Maybe I'm a retard but who can help me out here?

The brand name is ILO. Just your standard MP3 player I guess.

If some of your songs won't transfer, it might be because they're an incompatible format, like WMA or something. That's my only guess based on what you've said so far.

So should I copy the cd to Windows Media Player first then try to drag & drop onto the MP3?

If you have Itunes, you can change songs to mp3 format easily. I'm not sure how to do it in the Windows Media Player.
By the way, Ozzman: I love that Tom Waits is listed smack dab in the middle of six metal bands,

I have songs on my desktop that are MP3 format and all i'm trying to do is drag the motherfuckers over to my MP3 player folder.
It keeps on saying: "Cannot copy Dark Tranquillity - Lost To Apathy The directory or file cannot be created"

Belligerent:
RIP your cds using WMP (though I much prefer Jet Audio) to a location on your computer (maybe the obnoxiously convenient My Documents/ My Music location), then click and drag tracks from that window to your (I'm guessing) E:/ My Mp3player window.
If it's a cheapie, you may only be able to play songs in an .mp3 player format. Check what format you are ripping to (if using WMP you may be ripping to .wma by default, depending on version).
