JAhA... voor 2 shows in Nederland als onderdeel van hun Europese tour....

18 Oktober: Bimhuis Amsterdam
13 nov: p60 Amstelveen... + Carla Bozulich!!

een echte aanrader.

Het volstrekt eigenzinnige Sleepytime Gorilla Museum is een avantgardistisch gezelschap dat zich laat inspireren door Einstürzende Neubauten, King Crimson, The Melvins, Rammstein en Frank Zappa. De groep is eind jaren negentig opgericht in Oakland (USA) en is een samenwerkingsverband van gitarist Nils Frykdahl (o.a. Charming Hostess, The Faun Fables), violiste Carla Kihlstedt (o.a. Charming Hostess, inkBoat) en bassist Dan Rathbun (o.a. Idiot Flesh en inkBoat). Twee slagwerkers en een percussionist maken de groep compleet.

oooooeeeehhhhh, that's nice. SGM at P60 again!

thanks Onno! Have seen they play in Amsterdam in October, but that's part of a cultural week through whole Amsterdam, they play with two other acts that night at the Bimhuis.

The gig at P60 is a much better option for me.
