Sample from new Under Eden EP - Phoenix on Frozen Wings

Mastering was just finished on Sunday for the new Under Eden EP Phoenix on Frozen Wings, which contains three new songs destined for our next full-length album, and two remixes from our first album. We expect CDs to be available at the beginning of May, but since we are now confirmed for HC3, I wanted to post a sample. This isn't up on MySpace, so other than HeathenCrusader himself, it's presumably the first time anyone here will have heard it. Additionally, earlier songs and remixes from the first album can be heard at www.myspace.com/undereden - look for the album cover below to find the remixes as they appear on the EP.

As for our overall musical direction, it is a broad one that will encompass many metal subgenres ranging from black metal to technical death metal to more melodic styles akin to early Dark Tranquillity and the like. Lyrically, the full-length will be a concept album, but on an EP, there isn't room to adequately explore every idea.

The vibe is different from "Phoenix" but it has become one of our best live songs. Not sure if it's quite right for HC though - maybe too much death metal?
