That would indeed give me chills. I like the encore idea, that would be the perfect way to attempt something of that magnitude after the old schoolers in the crowd have already been satisfied with the earlier material. A more receptive audience means the chances of a proverbial tomato throwing would be severely lessened.

Agreed. LoD, DoD is about as close to atmospheric & emotional perfection as it gets (at least in the musical sense).

Yeah, that's why the encore is the best place to attempt it imo.

To be fair, I haven't given "Tulimyrsky" the undivided attention it deserves yet. I was a bit disappointed that they would chose to continue the same grandiose song structure blueprint because it serves to lessen the impact that V.... should have had in their catalogue, at least for an indefinite period of time.

As a result, I'm going to revisit the song today with a more level-headed perspective.

Wolven Ancestry are fucking AMAZING live. I booked them in Aug 2007 and they belw everyone away. Very high energy and simply scathing performance. Great guys, to boot. This show just took a large step forward.
fuck yeah! that just pumped me up!

I'll have to check out Chaos Moon, Arse Magnet wills it.

You can be rest assured they'll bring their A-game. If they play one of their longer songs in addition to a bunch of the older songs, I'd still be ok with that.
Wow, that's really cool =) I'm so excited to see them again! They're one of my favorite bands! Wolven Ancestry sounds pretty good, too.

I definitely hope to come. It will depend on if I have extra days off that late in year along with trying to get a hotel room and sharing it with someone to cut down the costs.
