Does UM have a guestbook feature?

If not I'm thinking of making a sticky thread a guestbook, would it be possible to turn a thread into a guestbook and have the most recent posts listed at the top of the thread?

Is it possible to do this to a thread without reversing the order of each thread in the forum?

Hey dude!

There's no guestbook feature per se - but as you suggested, I would create a thread and sticky it. However, there's no reason to keep the sticky thread order as you want. It is sorted by which one has the newest posts in them.

That isn't a problem with the sticky thread moving up and down the list.
Is it possible for the posts within the sticky thread to be listed in reverse order so that the newest post is displayed first?
This way members wouldn't have to wade through pages to read the latest post.

The same way any other guestbook is set up.
It may be worth considering setting up a guestbook feature for bands.
Guests would have to register to sign and it would attract more members to UM.

On the downside some people may not sign a guestbook due to having to register.

The thread order won't work that way unfortunately.

To be honest guestbooks are kind of old now. Mainly they create a lot of work for you because they are high volume spam targets. Even if you mod every guestbook entry it's a pain in the butt. The alternative is making them register in some form, with spam prevention. This is the way those spam bots are combated.
