Question about songwriting credits

Hey guys just wondered how you determined who wrote which songs...did one person actually write/dictate all the parts, or do you just give credit for who brought the main structure to the songs? I'm just curious...also was wondering why Andrew had no writing credits...He wrote a bit for Paramaecium so I was surprised to not see him on any of the credits other than the lyrics.

All of the songs were polished by the whole band, and often there would be arrangement changes to help the dynamics of a song during rehearsal. But the credit relates mainly to who wrote the riffs. The rest is collaborative.

I wrote some riffs early on in the process which didn't make it into album songs. I have a nominal credit on "Beneath Contempt" mainly because it is a song which has kind of evolved over 2 years and we couldn't really remember who wrote which bits cos it had changed a number of times during rehearsals.
