I'd need a bigger shoe. I saw a special on the gnarly Japanese hornets that are like 2" long! Those would creep me out.

The Mantis likes humans for some reason, I was working at a large grassy area and they were everywhere, 3-5" long, I had dozens of them on me and they ate all the other bugs that bothered me, they're kinda like fighter escorts
A lot of gardeners buy them by the case to eat bugs that are dangerous to crops. They're my favotite bug

Oh dear god. I HATE mantises.

Anything that has more than 4 legs or more than 2 eyes is a no go for me. I am so pleased you do not get them over here.

That mantis was a little cutey especially compared to the mosquitos. Japan had "tiger" mosquitos - they were pretty fierce and for some reason they just loved to snack on me!!! Ouch!
