Those who went to the McMurphy's Tavern show last night got a chance to listen to the EP. The "Disco Version" of "The Trooper" is not really disco. It's more of Eurobeat than anything. (Those who watch the anime Initial D know what I'm talking about.) There are gonna be some people calling it sacrilege to make a dance version of a classic metal song, but this one's not bad at all.

I got my Root Of All Evil CD this weekend... Transylvania and Evil That Men Do are excellent versions, and I really dig the acoustic Different World, but The Trooper (Dance Remix) doesn't do it for me, sorry.

Unfortunately we will not be offering this through our store, it is strictly a Japanese import due to the astronomical cost of shipping them in to the U.S., the price tag would be outrageous to cover the cost for just 4 songs. Back in the days when I was an anime fan, I used to buy my import CDs at a Japanese bookstore in Little Tokyo. Sadly, that store closed down, so I resorted to CDJapan, which has reasonable prices including shipping. Last night, I visited the site and found that they have the Maidens' first two CDs available. No word on when they'll stock on the new EP.

Is it possible to have MP3 downloads from this website for a fee? Convert the AIFF files to MP3 and then upload them on this site. To access the place to download them you need to pay a fee. It is the 21st century. Should be as easy as Mama's apple pie!
