Testing the character creator mode on Rock Band 2. Yeah, I know about the bass, but G&L doesn't do video game endorsements; so I got the closest thing possible.

yeah, the covers of number of the beast for this game are pretty terrible...
too bad we all couldn't just see them live eh?

i'd kill to see them on their new tour... too bad i'll have to settle for just a tour shirt bought online, heh, the designs for the tour are killer tho, check them out:

I could have gone completely nuts when I was buying tour shirts. I settled for 4 tho - two Twickenham ones (one for a friend), the Live After Death and the Aces High one. I would have bought them all tho!! I spent £80 in 20 seconds!!

My kit is very close to this one but mine is Birch instead of Maple. I don't know why but I always seem to end up getting birch kits. Maybe a maple or a combo of the two are in the future!

Ah true Linda but drums take far more space than guitars or basses.

Latest addition on Guitar Hero World Tour. It doesn't show on these pics, but her guitar is as bright red as the real thing. If only the game allowed the option to color the pickups, though...

This past weekend, I downloaded the Iron Maiden Track Pack for Rock Band 2. Here's the song list:

1. Aces High (Live)
2. 2 Minutes to Midnight
3. The Trooper
4. Wasted Years
5. The Number of the Beast
6. Run to the Hills
7. Can I Play With Madness
8. The Clairvoyant
9. Powerslave
10. Fear of the Dark (Live)
11. Hallowed Be Thy Name (Live)
12. Iron Maiden (Live)

Finally, gamers can play the original versions of "The Trooper", "The Number of the Beast" and "Run to the Hills" on Rock Band instead of the inferior covers in the past games. Surprisingly, they're easier to play than the cover versions. It's also great to have classics like "2 Minutes to Midnight" and "Wasted Years".

The live tracks are not from any of Maiden's albums; instead, they're newer recordings from last year's tour. If there's any nitpicking on these tracks, it's the fact that you can't play the intro of "Aces High"; instead, you pick up on the part where the band appears on stage. Still, it's the Iron Maiden experience every Rock Band gamer has been waiting for.

Also, I managed to set the game to have The Iron Maidens perform the songs live. Hopefully, I'll get some screenshots ready by next week.
