With Wilson or not, I think Katatonia always knew and did what they want to do. So I'm sure that Katatonia will do more dynamic, melancholic, depressive album and will catch perfect sound. Since they had started to journey, every album had original elements and unique sound. I believe that next release will be so good and I will say "My mouth is shut, stupidity have shut my mouth"

I just hope they enter the studio sometime this year, that way we know the new record will be out in the first half of next year. I will be a very happy man if that turns out to be true.

It's terrible, but at the same time I know it's going to be the single most jaw dropping piece of music since TGCD

I *really* hope he doesn't do the same thing to Katatonia...especially after how incredibly awesome The Great Cold Distance turned out. |

Man, the years go by and everyday it's clearer to me that TGCD is the ultimate Katatonia album. Fucking greatness.
After surprising the fans so much with destroying album after destroying album, i doubt that Katatonia will disappoint on the next one. |

Of course Katatonia doesn't "need" Wilson, but if a Wilson production job can help them get the sound that THEY want then it should be a great collaboration. Sure hope it is released during the first half of 09.
