Anyone interested in bands like Oceansize, Depeche Mode, Tool and whatnot should give these guys a try: www.myspace.com/fortysixtwelve
Sounds a bit like a mellowed out, more synth-based Oceansize or smth |

Cantata Sangui - On Rituals And Correspondence In Constructed Realities
brilliant and progressive mix of gothic, doom, black and whatsoever-metal. no use of guitars, but two bass-players using, a 4-, 5-, and a 12-string-bass. go, and listen for yourselves: www.myspace.com/cantatasangui |

Same here man. For me Silent Waters was at least a balanced continuation of (great) Eclipse, maybe better. Can't wait to get the new one on my hands since it's obvious that Amorphis are on the peak of their creativity and of their carreer of course.

Wolves in the Throne room - black cascade, to all who like quality black metal with a lot of atmosphere
believer - gabriel - amazing tech thrash I can't believe two of the best metal albums so far are by treehuggers and christians

I'm excited for the new ISIS, so don't spoil it! I think the new OSI album is gonna be great from the samples online.

I dont know, gave it two spins now and iam not that happy. Its like the last one, not long in my playlist. I absolutly adore Panopticon
but after that i would take Cult of Luna over Isis (last two Cult of Luna cds are just so damn good)
