"Idle Blood" guitar tab request
Musicians unite! Help!
The title says it all. All I know is that the intro uses chords similar to that of the Beatles' "Blackbird", but I just can't get round to it! This might help:

sounds opethy.
I'm pretty sure most of the chords are of the same shape- the type akerfeldt uses a lot with the A string and the B string fingerpicked simultaneously. The model is that you hold down the A string one fret higher than the B string (I'm not really into technical jargon so this might not make sense!) But its used in songs like- The moor Blackwater Park A fair Judgement Heir Apparent and even Stairway to Heaven (obviously not opeth) but yeah, i think that's the model for most of the fingerpicked chords of the song

I think it sounds like Katatonia, and almost nothing like Oepth except for some instrumentation.
I think even more of a Porcupine Tree influence here.
