about the new one? I've actually never been an über fan of the band, I just think Cynic is interesting. Traced In Air definitely appeals to me more than the older stuff since it seems to be more of a songwriting record than Focus

they were also very cool live

yeah i never was a fan around the time of focus. the whole robo vocal thing didn't really appeal. but hearing this new album really changed my opinion of them. it seems like a much more calculated effort. Cant get enough of "the space for this".

Yeah, somewhat the same for me. The Space For This and Evolutionary Sleeper are fantastic. I love how he mixes those Death Metal-ish riffs with the psychadelic vocals.
