Your Dream (but realistic) Kiuas Setlist like a headliner for this tour
lets dream about kiuas in a headline show.... whith 90 minutes time aprox to play... with a realistic setlist... i mean.... no 22 songs or somethings like that.... 16 or 17 is a good number.... obviusly they are presenting the dark age..so.... put some dark age songs!!
my choise: 01.- Intro / The Decaying Doctrine 02.- Warrior Soul 03.- Race With The Falcons 04.- Conqueror 05.- Winter In June (the surprise of the gig) 06.- On Wings Of Death We Ride 07.- Toward The Hidden Sanctum (iknow is a bonus song... but is incredible. Other band do it to..like edguy with fucking with fire with excelent results) 08.- Through The Ice Age 09.- Until We Reach The Shore 10.- Kiuas War Anthem 11.- Child Of Chimera / Black Wing Goddess ( Child Of Chimera from the PA then the band enter) 12.- Bleeding Strings 13.- The New Dark Age 14.- Of Anciant Wounds 15.- Across The Snow --------Encore---------- 16.- Of Sacrifice, Loss And Reward (yeah, the hit single!) 17.- The Spirit Of Ukko 1 from winter in june ep 5 from spirit of ukko 5 from reformation 6 from the new dark age nice... the set is like 88 minutes aprox... so put your realistic dream setlist...oo.... and the most important thing.... SORRY FOR MY POOR ENGLISH!!! REALLY SORRY..... pd: allready listen the album, but fear not! the new dark age is already pre order... i just couldnt wait.... but as far as i support kiuas buying the album i dont see anything wrong about it...... dont believe me? gonna get a pic with the album when arrvies... one hint..... the album kick ass.... serious ass |

1: Decaying Doctrine 2: Race with the Falcons 3: No More Sleep for Me 4: Kiuas War Anthem 5: Across the Snows 6: Black Winged Goddess 7: The Wanderer's Lamentation (My new favorite Kiuas song) 8: The New Dark Age 9: Of Sacrifice, Loss and Reward 10: And the North Star Cried 11: Conquerer 12: Reformation 13: Excell and Ascend - Encore - 14: Winter in June 15: Spirit of Ukko 16: Warrior Soul (In my opinion, the greatest Kiuas song) I didn't check for length, but this would be my complete Kiuas experience.

2. Of Sacrifice Loss and Reward -- Band intoduces themselves, asks everyone how they are doing, "Here's another one off our new record." 3. Conqueror 4. Thorns of a Black Rose 5. Of Ancient Wounds --- Ilja: "I have a question for you guys. Are you prepared for the new dark age?" --- Crowd cheers. --- Ilja "I'm sorry, I must be going deaf or something... I said ARE YOU PREPARED FOR THE NEW DARK AGE?" --- Crowd cheers louder. --- Ilja: "Hmm... I still don't think you are prepared!" --- Crowd cheers even louder. 6. The New Dark Age 7. Child of Cimmeria/Black Winged Goddess 8. Warrior Soul (extended solo version!) --- 9. After the Storm (Just Ilja and Mikko, Ilja plays rhythm guitar during solo) 10. Race With the Falcons 11. Across the Snows --- 12. Bleeding Strings 13. Kiuas War Anthem (with crazy rock and roll ending) ---- ENCORE ---- 14. Winter in June 15. Black Rose Withered 16. And the North Star Cried Comes out to about an hour and a half. I tried to pick songs that I know they do play live, and ones that I felt could be pulled off live while still staying pretty close the album versions. So no Wanderer's Lamentation or Discipline of Steel with lots of layering and choirs. I tried to give each album equal representation. I recently saw Kiuas live here at Pori. My friends arranged this gig so i got in for free and could go to backstage
 ...The show was quite good, the band played many new songs which i didn't like since i have listened the new album only once and don't know the songs so well. Also from what i have heard, the new album is their weakest. |

No way could I make a realistic setlist. My dream would be three sets, each one dedicated to an album.
