It's pretty solid for not having Steve Walsh on it. The new remaster fixes a lot of the boxiness of the drums and cleans up the muddy sound on the intial CD issue. Given John Elefante's compositional contributions, it's fairly different than say Monolith or Audio-Visions but it still is pretty much prog rock. The album that followed it in 1983 "Drastic Measures" was much more poppy (and fairly awful as a result) but this one I enjoy a lot. Hope this helps. ![]() |
