LORD Press statement - Mav Departs

Hey, everyone.

Today we regretfully announce the departure of our guitarist and great friend Mav Stevens from LORD, due to personal reasons.

This is a very sad day for us all, including Mav, and we've had an amazing year playing all over the country with the likes of Queensryche, Nevermore, Gamma Ray and more.

Instead of doing a prepared written statement where you can precisely word every part of your message into some kind of politically correct document that could easily mask the "real story", we decided to let you hear it right from us directly so we've filmed a video statement that you can find here:

That should lay any rumours and speculation to rest.

The other news is that LORD will be taking 4 months off to begin work on our next album, entitled "Ascendence".

In that time we will be auditioning guitarists to fill the large void that Mav will leave behind. Mav as a person and a friend can never be replaced, but we hope that we'll find a worthy guitarist that can proudly fly the flag that Mav will pass on.
