I caught 'em when I was in the US (met the guys as well), they were pretty good live. I'd be keen to catch 'em again if possible.

Yeah i just heard that about an hour ago. That just really fucking annoys me!!! Now heaps of our underground Metal bands don't get many opportunities to play these kind of shows because some promoters think Hardcore bands are better fitting cause it's the flavour of the month. Fuck me! The same thing will probably happen as when I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN played before EXODUS and THE HAUNTED.
KREATOR should have thrash metal or at least death metal support act. They may not pull the big numbers but someone like GRENADE, GOSPEL OF THE HORNS, HOBBS ANGEL OF DEATH, MURDERWORLD, VATICIDE, KILL FOR SATAN, DARK EARTH, SMUG GOAT, THIS TANGLED WEB,STARGAZER,DESTRUKTOR or at least another dozen bands i can still think of that would suit this show.
I know we are probably going to revisit the same conversation about how/why bands get these supports but that aside i think it's just wrong to waste a great Metal support slot on a Hardcore band.
Can't wait now to see who'll support DARK TRANQUILITY.

We were going to have a crack at the spot on the Kreator bill, but there's just too much shit going on in the MW camp at the moment... we didn't want to do it half-assed... I don't think we would've gotten anywhere near getting the spot anyway.

Grenade, Gospel, KFS and Hobbs were the bands I was most hoping would score the spot. I expected it would go to a more prolific, less-suitable band though.
