I'm hoping for a 2nd Melbourne show otherwise I'll add Sydney.

WingsofRedemption: What part of the box will you get signed? My MC figurines sit on top of my computer, I love staring at them!
They are still un-opened in the box, and sits near my laptop at home, I was going to get the box signed in a silver pen....I have been told that I have some how managed to get 3 row in section A!!!!

Also, what the fuck is with all the rules?

No drinking,no smoking, no cameras, no audio recording, no PLASTIC BOTTLES, no illuminating objects.

WHAT THE FUCK?

It's like Nazi Germany all over again, "sections A through D please line up in orderly fashion and wait to be put in the oven"

Which venue?

I was 3rd in line and scored half way up the first elevation on the side.

I saw KISS in roughly the same spot and guys walking up from below were saying the view was better from up there.

Yeah. Especially the NO PLASTIC BOTTLES rules. Stops people from chucking shit on stage and damaging equipment/musicians.
Used to be a huge problem and a real cunt to control. So, they just cut out the middle ground to eliminate the problem.

I hooked online this afternoon and they still had fairly decent A reserve tickets (looked like section 1 based on the floor plan)

We got ours today for Section C, somewhere near the front. Better than floor tickets, because we're so short. Somewhere near you I think, Stephen.

Did you apply on line or in person?

I am trying to weigh up who gets the better deal for the next time.

Here is a seating plan.

http://www.superdome.com.au/events/u...Map.%20gif.gif

Section C is on the floor on the other side of the stage from us.

in theory you'd be better off online ...everyone's pulling from the same system

It would depend on your connection how quickly you hit the BUY button to your allocation, I'd say

I didn't get my tickets until 9.15 because my train was stuck between Newtown and Town Hall for 20 minsand they're in section H centre in front of mixing desk

Brian, according to Superdome's map, section C is on the floor
http://www.superdome.com.au/events/u...Map.%20gif.gif

I'm confused now!

I got mine in person, because I refuse to get a credit card.

Credit cards are for schmucks.

The online system crashed for 40 minutes for KISS but that was the pre-sales. I assume if the online sales crashed you'd be better off waiting in line?

Also best to find a location without heaps of people camping out overnight a la the Elizabeth St outlet.

Thanks Stephen. We are in section 81. We got ours from Myer at Penrith. No one else was there. "Section C" is the cheap seats.

wow, I thought there would be more of an interest out west.

I was at the Homebush bay outlet and there were guys who got there at 6.30am. A couple of Lebanese guys turned up, one wearing a Bulldogs cap, I was surprised to hear them talking about the last Motley Crue tour as they were dressed up real trendy. I thought there must be some Christina Aguillera tix on sale.

The Sydney Uni footbridge outlet was a good one, hardly anyone ever there and I got a lot of dancefloor seats from that one.

Ticketek left that venue and another company took over selling their own tickets, unfortunately I found that out when waiting for KISS tix in 1997. I thought it was good going only 2 people and I was first.

I then had to rush to that theatre opposite the Crystal Palace pub - ended up with first elevation - dammit!

well considering the agency pull from the same system we're on, if we can't get to it, doubt they could either *shrug*

ticket-wise they'd still have to be connected otherwise people would be sitting on each other's laps

could make for interesting gigs
