Bootleg DVD = borked?

A bit of a newb-style question... don't flame me, I would've searched if the function was available...

I bought the bootleg DVD at Metalslam, awesome gig. It's only now that I've decided to watch it. I'm aware it's an NTSC DVD-R, and I may have compatability headaches. Alas, on both my DVD player, and PC, I have the same problem:
Only the 15 second intro plays, and that's it. Nothing else appears to be on the disc, at all. There's 11 chapters that MediaPlayer can see, but nothing will play. Am I doing something wrong, is it a chance there's a borked disc, or is it just my players can't handle it?
Someone help me, please, I need to get my fix of Dungeon after reading the bad news

OK, on the back of the DVD we mention that we can't guarantee that it'll work with any player because it's a DVD-R. Some drives just simply don't like certain brands of DVD-R discs, sadly.

What we can offer is this - come to the next show with the dead disc and we'll replace it on the spot with a new one for you.

Actually, that's one thing we CAN'T do, sadly - that's all we have left at the moment and we have quite the number of investors to pay off before we spend any more money...

Sorry about that!

The shirt sizes are really different with each band. The dungeon XL ones are pretty damn huge. But I have some XL band shirts which are smaller than L ones.

Likely $10, which is pretty cool for a DVD-R based product.

Is this bootleg the Volume One or did I miss the release of volume two?
