I've agreed to help a guildmate get his Warlock to 60, since he's got school etc during the week. Hurrah, I get to play without paying. So I logged on today, and tried to play... Then realised I found the game completely and utterly fucking boring.
I WIN, BLIZZARD! WoW's pretty good fun if you play with a few friends or something, I wouldn't bother playing solo because it's boring as fuck, and you need to have a group of 5 people to do things like instance dungeons, which are utter fucking hell to do with PUGs (Pick up groups - People you don't know that you party with). Playing alone really takes a lot of fun out of the game. |

Just some quick game recommendations for ya'll:
God Of War PS2 Semi-inspired by the new Prince Of Persia series, you take on the role of The Sparten Kratos, who is on a quest to destroy Ares -The God of War- through any means nessesary. This is an ultra-violent game where nothing is safe or sacred. You can kill civilians to feed your health metre, tear apart monsters with your barehands and smash the statues of the Hellean Gods to find treasures and so forth. It all cuts through much of the action/platformer genre bullshit. If you fall from too great a height, you died and start again instead of having to climb all the way back up. Restarts aren't so much of a problem but the game has some challenging and oft frustrating bosses and button-pressing minigames. The only major fault in this game is the lack of production time spent on it. They cut a lot out of the final product (all of which you get to see once you complete the game and unlock the bonus vidoes). Thought, overall, the game looks and plays fantastically -though the few faults within can be most annoying. Shadow Heart 2 -Convenant If you are sick of the Final Fantasy series of RPGs but still enjoy a good role-playing game -then this is the thing for you. The story is far too complex to go into but it has a lot to do with the original game (which was never released here) but it also takes an irreverant look at other RPGs and really takes the piss out of it. The combat system does take some getting used to at first, because it is a timing game where you have to hit the button at the right time to register a hit and if you miss but once, you fail. You can also create combos with upto 4 characters, which increases damage and allows access to special magical attacks. It's a very good system, once you get past te learning curve. The game is also massive -spanning two discs and with literially hundreds of hidden bonuses, weapons and items as well as a deep and involving plot and character constructure. Highlights of the game include: a gay vampire wrestler and his equally gay wrestling master. Choosing which of your characters gets tortured by a bondage mistress baddie and the funny character interactions. This is a must have, underrated game! ![]() Well, that is all. More to come soon. Peace The Pimp NeonBlack
