Yeah, both can sound great. I've heard pro samples from the Andy Sneap forum, i'm pretty sure it was using the cobra cab, and they sounded great.

I have a question regarding the pickup selector on my guitar. I don't know how to explain it technically.
When i have the pickup selector in the position just before the neck pickup. (so if its a 5 way i put it second from the top most position) i have a lot of static/noise coming through even when holding the strings muted. I have read that this can be sorted by grounding the pickups, but really dont know what i am doing. Any recommendations? Anyone?

It'd probably be best to take it to a guitar tech if you're not that handy with electronics. Even if you take it to one with the "I don't have the money to fix it right now, jsut wana know what it is and how much it will cost to fix it" excuse, then attempt to fix it yourself when you know what to do.

If I have a rosewood fingerboard, what's the best way to keep it clean? I have lemon oil but after applying it today i'm not sure if it's actually maintaining the fingerboard. Is there something you should use, or should you just use nothing?

isn't this because the pickup is being split, emulating a single coil? |

Last time I asked about this at a store they recommended Lemon Oil. I don't use anything though, just a good dry rag, sometimes SLIGHTLY damp, but then I dry it too. I don't know if other people would reccomend that though.

^I used Lemon Oil today, but I'm actually wondering how good it is for the wood after I applied it. I was thinking of just something that could preserve wood and/or its shine... like a normal wood cleaning product, say Mr. Sheen or something, would that go well on a guitar's fretboard?
