Actually, that's a big peeve of mine when I see tab books - they do something that sounds close to what the part actually is but it's not correct, but people who use those books play it like it's written thinking they know the right way to play it and then are confused when it doesn't really sound the same as what the artist is doing. I remember one Maiden tab book where they put both harmony parts in for the same guitar and you had to do some kind of fucked up finger picking to play them all at once. Just retarded!

Don't worry, if anyone wants to tab anything out soon, we're gonna make it easy for you! Just gotta clear a few things off of my plate first and then I'll get onto it.

Timmy ever thought about doing what My Dying Bride did for their new one and include a bit of ASCII tab for some of the songs in the booklet? I thought it was very uber cool of My Dying Bride to do that for the younger fans or fans who were new to guitar.

Well, yeah it'd be great... Except that as we said, we don't have the skills or the time to do this stuff, at least up to the standard that we'd want to put our name on as an official product.

The other thing is that big booklets cost a fuckload of money. We don't have major label support (in fact WE are our own label so we pay for everything ourselves) so we need to be smart about where the money goes. Do we have a 20 page booklet that has a couple songs in it which costs us another couple of grand to press up or do we do a 12 page and say go to our website and get as many songs and as much additional content as we like?

I think when we get the time to do what we want to do properly, people will be happy.

then i see where this thread is going, with teh My Dying Bride thing they give you some half arse ASCII tabs for some of the music, but here you get help from other forum members and BAND members showing you how to play it right, so i guess in a way this is better than including it in the booklet when you think about it!

I think I have the sweeps after the 2nd chorus of Taranno Del Mar figured out.

These notes are all semiquaver(16th note) triplets. Its rather fast and hard to play, but if your sweep picking is good, shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I tabbed the whole intro in guitar pro with all the instruments if anyone wants it, sounds pretty cool, a bit of the rhythm/bass guitar might be a bit off, I am using a laptop with terrible speakers, but the lead guitar should be fine, and thats all anyone wants to learn, right?
