See I don't get that... I'd say at maybe 99% of the gigs I've ever been to the headline band has gone on at around 11.30... How is a gig with 4 bands supposed to finish any earlier??

honestly if it was gonna finish an hour earlier id still go...it dosen't sound like much I know, but it makes a difference.
I wasn't liking my chances in the beginning of it finishing at a decent time for me as it were |

Ive always parked in the surrounding streets as I don't think there's any close by parking areas.
The only other thing you could do is park in one of the main car parks in George St and walk back down towards central. Will only be a 10min walk or so max. |

On the night of the VP/Paindivision show, I parked in Elizabeth St. about a minute's walk from the place. If you get there early, parking in the street isn't too much of a problem.

When I go to the Gaelic, I normally use this parking station on the corner of Goulburn & Elizabeth Street - http://www.wilsonparking.com.au/go/w...arking-station
Brian, hope to catch up for a beer tonight mate.

Dudes its not too hard to park, I definitely wouldn't pay at a parking station. I normally park on the side streets between forveaux and albion streets (near the excelsior hotel) and walk across. 5-10 minute walk and some parking meters end at 6, some at 8 and some at 10. Even if you have to put in some coinage, $3.30 an hour will be cheaper than the parking station

I'll have to give this one a miss unfortunately.
Blew the month's concert budget on Wednesday night.Tom's right though, the meter parking in nearby streets costs about $4; infinitely better than a parking station.

Great show! It was awesome to finally see Lord in a venue that wasnt a pub, with an epic backdrop and everything. Lots of lol's (especially someone positioning the blow-up dolls vag to Andy's mouth).
And good to have a chat with you Sam btw ![]() |

Thanks guys, and thank you to LUST, Switchblade, Daysend and of course to TY!
Really fun gig, although I think Shezza our groupie was a little worse for wear by the end of it! HAHA! Time to take a bit of a breather and get this damn album finished, before we start the second leg in late August! ![]() |
