Still, I don't share the general and enthusiastic view of vivid internet-based communication...there is hardly anything like that. You know, we've had these very "prolific" posters here that turned every discussion into a battlefield to show their own grandness.

So it is either this or silence...I was wondering today - and this goes also for life beyond the computer screen: do people actually exchange words with one another without a hidden selfish purpose?

Maybe I am just paranoid and a little disillusioned, having been in the city today realizing that ALL good records stores I used to buy at are no more! Then, I went to buy a ticket for the upcoming Sadus-show, and it is not even a printed one but a boring sheet of paper with hand-written about date and location with a stamp on it for validation...how ugly life can get when economic reasons become primary...
