Yeah that was crap.
I'm pretty pissed off that Marty went this week actually. Why the fuck couldnt he of gone 2 weeks ago before Daniel and Ricki Lee. They must feel robbed that he went the week after them. |

I would feel more robbed that Hayley is still there.

Marty was better on the Beatles show. Chanel was the best. Hayley did what she did well, but it was the safest most bland and boring performance this series. She has no personality. She is probably technically better than Marty, but as everyone says, it isn't just about singing. Both of them should have been gone long ago anyway.

Probably the first week I have been completely happy with the bottom three. Even though I wish Hayley or Casey went before Marty.

She was great for the first few weeks, but has sucked since.

nah... I don't get the attraction to her voice. Mark raves on about her giving him chills, but I have never liked her voice. When she starts really getting into it, it just sounds so forced

I remember liking her singing Symphony Of Life, which she got a touchdown for, but other than that I haven't really gotten into it either, but was still better the first few weeks. She has sucked since.

Courtney and Anthony still haven't gone bottom three, so I'd say at this stage it is between them, with Chanel as a contender. I wouldn't really mind either of them winning. I think I will go postal if Hayley wins though.

Anthony is too short to be the Australian Idol. I'm tipping Courtney to win. Unfortunately there's a section of Chanel's fan base who are thinking of stopping voting for her if she makes the top two, because they don't want her to make a dodgy album in 6 days. They're missing the point, I think.
Casey rules, no idea why people don't like her. Apart from her stuffing up her lines in Eleanor Rigby, she's never disappointed me. Everyone else has at some point, but not Casey. She's too young though, 16 year-olds have no business being in this competition. They should change the age bracket to 18-30 so I can go in it next year. |

I think the best result would be for Anthony to win, and Courtney and Chanel to come second and third and do their own thing. If Anthony doesn't win, it will be harder for him to have success, but I don't think that is the case for Courtney and Chanel.

Well that was the best thing Casey has done in a while. Could have been better, but it sounded good because it is such a great song. She should have done the whole thing on the proper show.

I guess she hasn't had the opportunity, apart from the "sing what you like" show. She sang Special Ones on that one and got a touchdown, so I guess she didn't lose anything.
Nothing Else Matters would be a killer single for her to release. The song is old enough that it's not too soon to cover, and also recent enough that people know what it is. |

I had a bit of a giggle when reading some stuff in this week's TV Week. They ask each idol some questions, and they ask Casey:

Hayley, Chanel and Courtney for the bottom three this week I think. When Hayley first started, I thought, hey, she might pull this off, but when she reached the chorus her voice couldn't handle it. Weak, weak voice. I hope she goes. Chanel I didn't think was too bad, I quite liked it. Courtney was far from his best, one of his weakest performances, but still not too bad. I don't think Casey deserved her touchdown. Good performance, but Anthony was much better, and he got nothing. I think because he has raised the bar so high for himself they expect too much from him.

Best tonight was Casey by a country mile, but no, she didn't deserve her touchdown. I think Mark maybe gave it to her because Dicko put him up for it and to say no would have been a form of criticism.
I didn't care much for anyone else. Courtney needs to stop whinging whenever he gets a little bit of criticism - I've been a fan since day one but he's really starting to lose me with his attitude. I really, really, really hope Anthony doesn't win this thing. I can't stand him and I really don't know why. He was average tonight apart from the big note, which I think was done expressly to get onto the highlights thing for the night and get more votes - that bit is the one they have for him when they put up the numbers at the end of the night. Forget the fact that he posted in the rest of his performance. I think Casey could be a real dark horse to win the competition. Courtney is starting to lose steam I think, Chanel was always going to be too off-centre to win the popular mainstream vote, and Hayley is just there to make up the numbers. Her only genuine threat is Anthony but I think a backlash will start any day now. Of course, whenever I say someone will win the comp they leave in the next week or two. Sorry Casey. |

Oh, and I think Chanel will go tomorrow night, unless her fanbase really picks up with the voting. I'll vote lots of times cos I get 150 free SMSs per month and I'm a bit of a loser, but I think her time is up. A shame, cos I hear next week is Big Band night and she would have torn it up.

I will agree with you there about Casey and Courtney, though I do think Anthony was the best tonight.

The judges are fucking morons, Holden is a smug prick with what he said to Hayley, it was a backhanded insult. I thought Anthony deserved a touchdown way more than Casey did. Chanel was good, the outfit was a bit bizzare though. Send in a vote or two for me Spiffo
