details on the release of Pain of Salvation's latest album
taken from their official Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/n...50163911800355)
I for one cannot wait for this release. loved the single of Road Salt that they released for their bid to go to Eurovision and just love the majority of what this band has released to bits going more with the movie/TV show imaginings that they started with their live DVD release -which is honestly a must buy for any fan Quote:

Hopefully it will sound more like the POS I know and love and a bit less like the Linoleum ep which was ok, but nowhere near as good.
From the tracklist, the new album only has 1 of the 5 songs from the ep so fingers crossed. I have been listening to the old albums again recently and fuck they are a good band. The Perfect Element, Remedy Lane and BE are pretty flawless. Entropia, One Hour by the Concrete Lake and Scarsick are great too. The live DVD is kickass too.... |

New song up but to listen to it 'officially' you have to like their Failbook page.
I'm definitely sick of bands forcing popularity metrics through shit like that... so here's a YouTube link instead.

It doesn't bother me at all. For the priviledge of being able to listen to a track for free, a couple of clicks is nothing and a fair ask. You can also 'unlike' them straight after if you feel inclined.

I picked up Road Salt 2 today and it is great.
Even better then Road Salt 1 (despite various opinions). Has a far more dark rock sound to it with a Western edge. Not meaning country and western but proper Morricone notations to some songs.
