ROTTING CHRIST NEW ALBUM & TRIBUTE
Greek band Rotting Christ`s new album is finished, briefly before guitarist & keyboard player part the group. A Brazilian record tribute album will be recorded by 14 brazilian bands, to honor the hellenic metal gods.
The band`s new Album, Titled "Sanctus Diavolos", It will be released on September 20th 2004. The studio recordings took place at 'SCA Sudios' in Athens and the mix At Gothenburg`s 'Fredman Studios'.

The returning back to the roots way the band has choosed in the last couple of albums goes on with that album too and it really brings back memories of THY MIGHTY CONTRACT as well as a perfect follow up of their last great reviewed GENESIS album.
Meanwhile the band will be playing some shows in Europe as a four member as the keybord player, George, doesn't play anymore with the band.His departure took part on a friendly way and the follow up of the band as a four members show even more their will and the need to touch the earlier 90' philosophy and sound.

Costas, The band`s guitarist, has left the group. Official band announcment: "After long presence and assistance in the band our colaboration with our guitarist COSTAS has ended up because of personal reason in a friendly atmosphere.
As a band we would like to send our estimation for his dedication in our hard work all those years".
Costas will be appeared for last time with Rotting Christ on 24 of July in Sao Paulo, participating in Masters Open air festival.
And last but not least, a Brazilian tribute album to the band will be released under the title of: 'AN EVIL EXISTENCE FOR ROTTING CHRIST' and will consist 14 Brazilian bands! Check the flyer and the following link:

I can't wait for RC's new album. Too bad about the band having only 3 people now... but it's still good.

Sanctus Diavolos is the best album of the second era of Rotting Christ in my opinion. And as far as i know they won't search for a second guitar player for the moment

The band is doing damn well with just 3 members !
I am not that much of a black metal fun but I try to support bands like RC.
I first listened to the promo… I got the album the very next day.
I only hope to steal some time of my studies to see them live.
Check out “Athanati Este”
All of my Non-Metal friends when listened to the first lines in Greek were not abele to believe that there is a band in Greece that could ever sound like that !
One of the best album I bought this year.
P.S. Still need to check the tribute.
