Metal Blade Record's new East Coast based Beyond the Embrace, are getting set to release their debut album 'Against the Elements" in May of 2002.
Before that, guitarist #1 Oscar Gouveia gave us a run down on what's happening with BEYOND THE EMBRACE:
"Production for BTE's Metal Blade Records debut has been finished. Produced and engineered by the band along with AARON CLAY at ESS Productions, the final mixes were dealt to Bay Area producer extraordinaire JUAN URTEAGA at TRIDENT STUDIO's with the result being a sonic barrage of finesse and power. The debut release "Against The Elements" will be released in May 21 2002."
In other BTE news, the band has parted ways with long time friend and drummer Mike Bresciani, whose drum work will be featured on the upcoming CD. Recruited to replace Bresciani is drummer Kevin Camille. Camille's previous bands have been Roswell, and Voices forming weapons. Camille's command of the drum set has added a degree of precision to the band's already hard hitting live performance. For other news and updates check out Beyond the Embrace's official website
