ARCH ENEMY guitarist in accident with crowdsurfer!

During Arch Enemy’s show on the 5th of November at The Reverb in Toronto, a young woman who crowdsurfed & stagedived all night wound up smashing right into Michael Amott’s black Gibson V guitar during one of his solos, smashing the mirror pickguard and ripping out the entire jack/input. There was a whole in the guitar wich Michael’s guitar tech. repaired. The guitar, according to Michael Amott, looks “kinda punk rock now with its cracked mirror.” There is no word on if the young woman suffered any injuries, reports century-media.com.

Arch Enemy has also been forced to postpone the first leg of their European tour, namely the Scandinavian dates. These dates have been postponed until the end of January 2003, not cancelled. The first European show will be in Eidenhoven on November the 29th.
