Danish black metal veterans Ancient have started working on their fifth album, to be released on Metal Blade Records at the end of 2003, or the start of 2004.
The band will enter a studio in the south of Denmark with Jacob Hansen as producer, who also produced the band’s last album “Proxima Centauri”.
“An album-title hasn't been set yet, but the band is planning a very strong, powerful album following the direction of Proxima Centauri. The band will be taking some small breaks in the writing process and do some concerts around Europe in March and April, as well as a trip to South America where possibly some live- recordings will take place.
