Denim vest is cool! And it also fun when total strangers come talk to you on gigs about bands in your vest, for example my Sacred Reich backpatch has gotten me couple beers, people wanting to buy me for having so great band in my vest

It IS a good conversation starter, with metalheads or not. I get people asking about the bands shirts I wear all the time.

I have countles spatches I need to put on mine, and I have a Kreator 'Enemy of God' backpatch that I'm giving to Greg (since I decided that I'm having an Evile backpatch instead of a Kreator one).

Also getting new denims to put 'em on, as he whole blue denim vest shit has become such a cliche
so I'll be buying mine in black. Just so I look different from everyone else, I don't want to appear to be following the herd.

Blue denim jackets coated in patches has become a thrasher's stereotype. I love the idea of patched up denims but the seas on blue dneim I see at some gigs really pisses me off, so I'll e the black sheep - literally

Oh and Diddy, I bought an ETG backpatch on tour if thats what you were on about.

i've got a grey one with a maiden patch that i wear around town. it is pretty great cause you walk around and people stop to talk to you and others salute you with metal horns.

Kreator, definately. I've seen far too much of the others.

They suit some people.
I prefer to put patches on my bag, but my old bag is falling apart so I need to transfer to a different one at some point.
On there will be Agent Steel, Forbidden, Nuclear Assault, Sodom and some others I've got waiting.

I would quite like to put patches on my jeans but i wouldn't want to have to throw them away :/

you can always cut the patches off. I've transfered a whole set of patches from one jacket to another before. that kutte died an ugly death.
