here's the goal of this thread. i want to compile a list of sites that give detailed descriptions on things like tonewood, hardware, electronics, etc. basically, provide all the info you should know about your gear, and gear you plan to buy in the future.

I noticed that Imbuya was not mentioned on any of the links gR provided. My bass is made out of this wood, and I would say its tone is warmer than it is bright. Any professional links to it, though?
