Hailing from Perth City, Western Australia, Dyscord have become a menacing & unrelenting force in the Australian Metal scene. Since the release of their 2006 debut EP 'Arming Within' the band has set about forging a reputation for blistering live shows & unwavering professionalism.
During this time the band have made themselves heard by supporting the likes of Machine Head, Arch Enemy & Trivium's Black Crusade Tour, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, The Haunted, As I Lay Dying, Mudvayne, Darkest Hour, Ill Nino & Static-X. As well as touring nationally alongside The Black Dahlia Murder & God Forbid. Not to mention playing the annual Big Day Out & Overcranked festivals alongside the likes of Rage Against The Machine & Helmet respectively.
2008 will see the band striving for new heights with the release of their debut album 'Dakota', recorded by WAMI nominated producer Adam Spark (Birds of Tokyo) at his Wing Command Studios. Dakota unleashes 10 Tracks of hard as nails, groove laden metal that will undoubtedly stand as one of the heaviest Australian releases this year.
