Fans of Gothenburg metal MUST hear this!
Just released, the debut album of Dutch melodic Death/Thrashers DETONATION entitled "An Epic Defiance". Everybody into At The Gates, Death, Dark Tranquillity, Dissection etc. will love this.
- powerful production courtesy of Excess Studio's, Rotterdam (Sinister, Houwitser, After Forever).
- artwork by Niklas Sundin of Dark Tranquillity.
- 12 tracks, 46 minutes playing time.
- high quality full-colour 100% professional packaging.
Listen/download (to) the titletrack of the album here!
On the same page you'll also find 3 tracks from their Promo 2001, these tracks have also been re-recorded for the album and can therefore serve as tasters as well, bearing in mind that the album versions are far superior.
Please give us your opinion and hopefully order the album (PM me), since it's a self-financed release, it is only available directly from the band!

Thanks you guys!
@The Silent Smiling Jester, you probably downloaded the tracks from the Promo 2001, they have also been re-recorded for the album, so if you like those songs and the new song, you'll LOVE the album!
Another song from the album has been uploaded to MP3.com and should be online (streaming only...) in a week or so...

It's a self-financed release, so it's only available directly from the band or from me.
You can order the album for 13 Euro (Europe) or 14 Euro/ US$14 (outside Europe), postage included.

Listening to it now, sounds cool! Sound is a bit unclear though, would like to hear it with better sound, the playing sounds tight though.
Tell your drummer to hit the hi-hat on the snare instead of in between, during skank beats (preferably hit it on the snare and on the kick though...).
