Gates of Dawn


is a (...yet...) unsigned band from Sweden,
Playing a mix of Doom/Death/Gothic Metal... (don't really know how to label the music )

Influences/similarities comes from bands/music like:
Candlemass, My Dying Bride, Opeth, In the Woods, Dead Can Dance , Anathema,
the Gathering, Fields of the Nephilim, Evereve, the 3rd and the Mortal and much, much more...

The music is Atmospheric, Melodic and Emotional with both clean and distorted parts. (Vocals and Guitars)
The songs varies from Distorted Heavy, Darkness to 'acoustic' soft sadness...

Yes, it's been a while now since I've been here in the forum,
but I'm resuming my "promotour" here at UM...
I hope that some of you listen to the songs and find them interesting!

We're still unsigned and currently working on new material
that probably will be availible in our mp3 sites...
The music is based on some kind of Doomish Melodic metal with influences from Nordic and other folkmusic.
If you like our old songs you won't be disappointed in the coming tunes.
