Lone Star Metal Showcase Press Release

Lone Star Metal magazine, a Texas based webzine, will be hosting a showcase event in Houston, Texas on June 27th at one of the city’s longest standing venues, Fitzgerald’s. The showcase will be

Texas Metal veterans, ASKA, will headline the event, which will be the band’s return to Houston after almost a year. Directly supporting ASKA will be Brazilian Power Metal act, Vougan, recently relocated to Austin. Vougan features Carlos Zema (formerly of Outworld) and the showcase date will be their premiere show in Houston.

Also in support are Six Minute Century, a Houston stalwart, Conspiracy of Thought, based out of Hollywood, CA, and Off the Zodiac from San Antonio.

The showcase event will serve as the launch party in celebration of the webzine’s recent debut on the Internet this past March. Lone Star Metal is uploaded bi-monthly and centers on the Texas Heavy Metal and Hard Rock scene. Tickets are on sale now for $8 and will be $10 at the door. Damn...sorry I'll miss it. Really enjoyed SMC and ASKA at NMF.
But more improtantly, I will miss getting to hang out with my Texas buddy SavaVIDude!
