One duo who thought worked very well together was Eric Halpern and Gregg Gill from ZLZ.
From the samples I hear from the Krucible stuff, looks like Halpern/Lafon may be even better.

Halpern and Lafon are awesome together, and if you want to hear them live come to TEXAS MADFEST and listen to them blow Houston apart.
